Euro Coop Elects New Board for 2026–2030 and Welcomes Debbie Robinson as President

Today, Euro Coop's General Assembly elected the organisation's new Board for the 2026–2030 mandate, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the European Community of Consumer Co-operatives.

The newly elected Board has entrusted Debbie Robinson, Chief Executive Officer of OurCoop (United Kingdom), with the role of President of Euro Coop. Robinson succeeds Mathias Fiedler, who has led the organisation over the past two mandates. Robinson previously served as one of Euro Coop's Vice-Presidents and has been actively involved in advancing the interests of consumer co-operatives at both European and international levels.

A highly respected leader within the co-operative movement, Robinson brings decades of experience in retail and consumer co-operation. As CEO of OurCoop, one of the largest consumer co-operatives in the United Kingdom, she has championed sustainable business practices, member engagement, community development, and international co-operative collaboration.

After her election, Debbie Robinson shared her vision for the next four years, highlighting the importance of strengthening collaboration with the wider international co-operative movement. By fostering closer cooperation across the co-operative family, she aims to enhance the visibility, influence, and collective impact of co-operatives in addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges.

The General Assembly also elected the full Board that will guide Euro Coop's work during the 2026–2030 mandate. The Board brings together representatives from consumer co-operative organisations across Europe, reflecting the diversity and strength of the movement.

Euro Coop extends its sincere thanks to the outgoing Board members for their commitment and contributions during the previous mandate and looks forward to working with the newly elected Board in the years ahead.
