Euro Coop Joins +140 Organizations in Urgent Call to Preserve EU Green Measures
13.05.2024 10:43:34

Euro Coop stands alongside 140+ civil society organisations in a crucial plea to EU policymakers. Our joint statement highlights the alarming rollback of vital green measures across Europe.
With only a month to go until European elections, over 140 civil society organisations are raising the alarm in a new open letter about a broad attack on many of the EU’s flagship green measures and commitments. In a unified effort to address the pressing environmental challenges facing Europe, Euro Coop has joined forces with these organisations. Together, we raise our voices to call for the preservation of essential green measures within the EU.
The recent trend of rolling back environmental protections is deeply concerning. From relaxed pollution rules to the abandonment of sustainable food production plans, these decisions jeopardize the health of our planet and the well-being of future generations.
Euro Coop urges policymakers to prioritize sustainable practices over short-term gains. Our environment is not just a resource; it's the cornerstone of our society's resilience and prosperity.
