Retailers across Europe compete for recognition in a range of categories, showcasing the most innovative and impactful private-label products on the market.
Among the finalists are Coop Norge, Consum, and Coop Sweden, each receiving nominations for their outstanding product innovations. The awards, launched in 2017, recognize the best in store brand development across Europe. Products are judged on taste, innovation, presentation, and sustainability, with a panel of retail and culinary experts evaluating the finalists.
Notable Nominations for Euro Coop Members:
Coop Norge (Norway) is nominated in the Dairy Products category with Änglamark Vanilla Yoghurt, a sustainable and delicious dairy option that stands out in the market. Additionally, Coop Norge is also a finalist in the Meal Accompaniments category with Coop Pizza Nduja.
Consum (Spain) is recognized in the Dessert Products category with Consum Popcorn Ice Cream, a creative and innovative treat that aligns with their commitment to providing unique, high-quality options.
Coop Sweden is nominated in two categories: Coop Mustard Herring in the Meat and Seafood category and Coop Good Night Herbal Tea in the Tea, Coffee, and Hot Drinks category.
These nominations highlight the Coop brand’s dedication to high-quality, affordable products, as well as their commitment to innovation.
The European Private Label Awards acknowledge the huge work of both retailers and suppliers, celebrating their contributions to the European retail sector. This year’s competition is described as the toughest yet, with 68 product innovations from 17 categories vying for recognition.
